With this type of equipment it is possible to guarantee the achievement of the result in a short time and without false expectations. BEFORE TREATMENT

The length of the hair must be minimal, therefore it must be shaved with an electric razor to the minimum length the day before the treatment or with a blade razor 3 days before. From the moment the sessions begin, it is essential to never resort to hair removal treatments with waxes or tweezers (even silk-epil).

Before each session, the hair must be shortened as indicated above and never plucked from its own follicle, otherwise the effectiveness of the treatment will be reduced and the number of sessions will be prolonged. The hair will be progressively less session after session and the regrowth time of the residues will be gradually longer, therefore this phase is only apparently unpleasant. The color of the skin before starting the sessions must be as natural as possible, i.e. it is essential that there has been no exposure to UV rays (sun or lamps) during the previous 30 days, so that the melanin is not already activated and stimulated before the laser pulse. In cases where the initial skin color is naturally olive or pigmented, the laser software is able to adjust the power and fractionation of the pulse adequately and the treatment can be completed in the best possible way.

 

DURING THE TREATMENT

The session has a variable duration depending on the part treated, even the largest areas are managed between 30 and 60 minutes. No local anesthetic is necessary and sometimes (with the ET) water-based gel must be used to increase beam focus.

The session is not painful and depending on the patients and their sensitivity, moderate discomfort may be felt between one impulse and the next.

 

AFTER THE TREATMENT

At the end of the session, an uneven redness appears on the treated areas depending on the concentration and color of the hair. Afterwards there might be some redness. It is sufficient to apply a soothing moisturizing cream (BIAFIN, ABILAST BODY) to relieve this symptom even more quickly. At home it is necessary to washwith water and neutral soap, without "scratching" the skin and the crusts that may have formed on some follicles. Pat dry and reapply one of the creams.

After a few hours, all symptoms will have completely disappeared.

The most important element of the post-treatment phase is to avoid exposure to ultraviolet rays because hitting the sensitized parts could generate hyperpigmentation, although transient. Sun exposure can be resumed at least 40 days after the last session.
