RESURFACING (DERMOABRASION)
Il resurfacing (dermoabrasione) eseguito mediante laser CO2 frazionato, crea un ringiovanimento del viso omogeneo, naturale, privo di artifici e senza cicatrici.
Resurfacing (dermabrasion) is performed using a fractional CO2 laser that creates a homogeneous, natural, artifice-free and scar-free facial rejuvenation.
With light beam divided into small points that hit the skin in a little traumatic way, the laser vaporizes the superficial layer of the epidermis (dermabrasion), migrating infracellular water in the cells without damaging the surrounding tissue.
This triggers the "resurfacing" mechanism or regeneration of the skin layers.
The heat dilates the neighboring capillaries, increasing the tissue regeneration capacity and improving quality.
INDICATIONS
- Expression lines (especially around the eyes, lips and forehead)
- Acne scars
- Neck wrinkles
- Hyper-pigmentation problems (dark spots on the skin)
Unlike old methods that are ineffective and too aggressive (such as skin peelings based on acids with a variable percentage and even previous lasers), this innovative technology induces the genesis of new cells and an increase in collagen production. resurfacing (dermoabrasion)
The fractionation technology allows the surgeon to modulate the parameters of use and move from superficial and delicate treatments to gradually deeper “skin resurfacing” treatments.
This procedure does not claim to be a substitute for surgical lifting, which can correct more evident, deeper and more extensive sagging, however it is part of that very wide range of need which involves the correction of annoying expression lines, spots or small scars that often occur. found on the face and that the facelifts themselves could not correct as successfully.
The result will be visible from the first session and will give a smoother, more compact and collagen-enriched skin.
BEFORE TREATMENT
In the 2 weeks prior to the session it is necessary to follow specific indications in order to optimize the effect of the laser. It will therefore be important not to take photosensitizing drugs; avoid exposure to the sun and UVA lamps and prepare the skin with the application of moisturizers and perform antiviral prophylaxis for three days.
AFTER THE TREATMENT
After the treatment there will be burning or more or less intense discomfort in the first 24 hours. Resurfacing.
It is necessary to apply specific creams, antibiotic first and then anti-inflammatory / moisturizing, which are indicated in the appropriate handbook. Within 3 days there is the formation of thin crusts destined to fall within 7-8 days depending on the depth of action.
Avoid exposure to sunlight and UVA lamps for at least 60 days (it is therefore preferable to undergo the treatment during the colder months). Beyond 60 days from the treatment, exposure to the sun will be possible, in moderation and only if protected by total screen sun lotion.
Before each treatment it is essential to undergo a medical examination to evaluate together the real problems and the concrete possible remedies. The laser itself is not a panacea and is not indicated a priori on all skin types and for all wrinkles indiscriminately.
